The PUP Sentro ng Konseho ng Mag-aaral convened mock elections regarding the student's preferred presidential, vice presidential, and senatorial candidates for the upcoming elections, from March 9-13.
Under the PUP SKM Resolution No. 002, Series of 2022, resolving that the PUP SKM Ad Hoc Committee for National Election Matters will facilitate all National Election Matters particularly on spearheading a PUP Mock Elections, facilitating the crafting of the PUP Student Agenda, and opening a series of Voter’s Educational Discussion for all PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila students.
The PUP SKM releases its further directives particularizing on the conduct of the “Pulso PUP; A PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila Student Mock Elections” together with its PUP SKM Electoral Campaign synergies to “PUP Student Agenda” and “PUP Rock the Vote”.
Meanwhile, the College of Accountancy and Finance (CAF) acquired the highest number of voters which is 3,892 while a total of 14,886 voters from all college precincts was recorded.
The students were added to their respective MS Teams per college department and the platform used in voting is MS Forms so the students had adequate time to assess the candidates thoroughly.
As the Mock Election concluded, PUP Sentro ng Konseho ng Mag-aaral will canvas the votes on March 14 and 15 while the breakdown of the official tally of votes are expected to be posted on their Facebook page on March 16.
