PUP JPIA Manila has once again emerged as the dominant force, awarded as the “Most Outstanding Local Chapter” in the Annual National Year End Awards of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA) with the theme “Ragnarok: The Fall of Yggdrasil”, held at Patio de Manila on July 31.
The local chapter secured various recognitions in respective categories where one of the standout awardees was Mr. James Robert D. Aguila, MBA, CPA, CMA who was awarded as the ‘Most Outstanding Local Chapter Adviser’ despite being a first-time adviser while Mr. Mark Anecito R. Perlas, MBA, CPA was acknowledged once again with the title of ‘Outstanding Local Chapter Adviser’.
For the individual category, PUP JPIAns received awards, Ma. Erica A. De Guzman as the ‘Most Outstanding Local Chapter President’; Brix Q. Cervantes, ‘Most Outstanding Local Chapter Executive Officer’; Daniel C. Terencio, ‘Most Outstanding JPIAN’; Allyssa Lalaine C. Oria and Grezel Joy Denise A. Aglibot received the ‘Outstanding Local Chapter Executive Officers’; and John Ralf A. Aranas was acknowledged as the ‘Digital JPIA Artist of the Year’.
Moreover, for the academic and non-academic awards, the local chapter’s events were also recognized:

"Paralaya: Audit Convention 2023" - 3rd Outstanding Local Chapter Activity in Academics
"LikhaJPIAn" - 3rd Outstanding Local Chapter Activity in Non-Academics
PUP JPIA Manila secured the title of "Most Outstanding Local Chapter" for three consecutive years, "These awards are dedicated to every committee member and head, volunteer, participant, sponsor, and partner who willingly showed their cooperation and help for every activity of the organization. We are also thankful for the previous federations for giving us the inspiration to continue the legacy," Mr. Perlas, one of the local chapter’s advisers writes in his Facebook post.
