During the Flag Ceremony on the Facebook page live of Polytechnic University of the Philippines (Official) on April 4, President Manuel Muhi says they are already discussing to conduct face-to-face classes this October 2022.
"Following the relaxation of the situation ('yung pandemic relaxation), we are gradually transitioning into a new mode of operations. Actually, we are preparing for the first semester. From October po ay magkakaroon na po tayo ng limited face-to-face; ito po ay gagawin nating hybrid", said the PUP President.
He further explained, "Ang mga estudyante po na kung saan ay pumasok sila sa requirement na pwede silang pumasok dito sa eskwelahan; 'yung iba po ay nasa loob ng mga classroom, 'yung iba po ay nasa kanilang mga bahay." and the same standards is also to be followed by the faculty members.
Moreover, on an interview conducted by ABS-CBN news last January, the chairperson of CHED Dr. J. Prospero de Vera III stated, "Sa school year 2022-2023 na sila (PUP) magfaface-to-face classes dahil ang kanilang pinagtutuunan ng panahon ay palakasin at pagandahin 'yung kanilang online and offline delivery ng education."
