PUP Manila graduate ranks 2nd in May 2022 CPALE


Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Manila graduate, Yanna Jilliane B. Cruz, made it to the Top 10 as she ranked 2nd, garnering an average of 88.17% rate to the recently concluded May 2022 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination (CPALE).


Cruz was a former member of PUP Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants Manila’s Finests who brought numerous awards from various competitions during her time in the organization.


Meanwhile, the national passing rate is at 22.29% and the PUP Manila gets an overall passing rate of 15.79%, where 15 of them successfully passed having two conditional passers.


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the result in its official website on June 1, 2022, that only 990 out of 4,442 CPALE takers nationwide successfully passed the examination.


According to the PRC, none of the schools with CPALE takers in May qualified to be recognized as a top performing school while based on Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058 (C) series of 2017, the top performing schools with 50 or more examinees passed, and at least 80% overall passing percentage were acknowledged.
