PUP JPIAns, all members of PUP JPIA Manila FINESTs, became part of the Overall Top Performing Examinees on the recently concluded NCR Frontliners 2022 1st Installment, entitled “MIDHEAVEN: Aligning The Stars,” on October 1-2.
For the purpose of simulating the actual CPA board examination, participants in the NCR Frontliners competition underwent tests to gauge their knowledge of Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR), Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting (AFAR), Management Advisory Services (MAS), Auditing (AUD), Regulatory Framework for Business Transactions (RFBT), and Taxation (TAX).
13 Local Chapters and 87 individuals attended the event, which took place face-to-face at UP Diliman.

The heads of the PUP JPIA Manila Academics Department are Mr. Brix Q. Cervantes, Vice President for Academic Affairs, who is also one of the competitors, and Ms. Celine Mae P. Javier, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, along with two other FINESTs, demonstrated their support by joining and assisting the competitors during the two-day competition.
In addition, Mr. Mark Anecito R. Perlas, CPA, showed his support by welcoming the PUP JPIA Manila representatives outside the examination room after the contest was over.
