PUP JPIA Manila hauls 'Most Outstanding Local Chapter' Award this year

PUP JPIA Manila and fellow JPIANs radiated their triumphant flame as they took home various awards from the 18th NFJPIA-NCR Year-End Awarding Ceremony entitled “BANAAG: Radiating the Triumphant Flame,” held at Philippine Christian University on June 25.


As for the local chapter category, PUP JPIA Manila was commended as the Most Serviceable Local Chapter, Active Local Chapter, Outstanding Local Chapter in Non-Academics, Most Awarded Local Chapter in Academics, and Most Outstanding Local Chapter.


For individual awards, the Most Outstanding JPIAn in Non-academics goes to Grezel Joy Denise Aglibot; Most Outstanding JPIAn in Academics and also the Most Outstanding JPIAn goes to Daniel Terencio; Erica De Guzman, received awards for ‘Outstanding Local Chapter President’ and ‘Most Outstanding JPIAn in Socio-civic’; Elaine Igot and Klyde Pacis were recognized as the ‘Outstanding Local Chapter Executive Officers’; Mariel Dipolog was recognized as the ‘Outstanding JPIAn’; and Brix Cervantes was distinguished as the ‘Most Outstanding Local Chapter Executive Officer’.


"This award is a manifestation of all the hard work, dedication, and service of each and every one of our local chapter executive officers, committee members, committee officers, members, and delegates of PUP JPIA Manila," Erica De Guzman, President of the MIRADLAYA Federation of PUP JPIA Manila, stated after she received the plaque of the award for the Most Outstanding Local Chapter.


Erica De Guzman wrapped up the speech with this statement: "We, PUP JPIA Manila, MIRADLAYA Federation, confidently say that all together we have voyage to prowess."

Furthermore, PUP JPIA Manila was given special awards such as Largest Delegation in Webinars, Largest Delegation in Leadership, and Largest Delegation in Non-Academics.

The local chapter's events were also recognized as the Best Local Chapter Activity in Leadership for 'PUP FIRST', Outstanding Local Chapter Activity in Socio-Civic for 'Project Pamana' and 'Iskalikasan', Best Local Chapter Activity in Socio-Civic for 'ATIMAN', Outstanding Local Chapter Activity in Non-Academics for 'LikhaJPIAn' and 'Fifth Floor' Podcast, Outstanding Local Chapter Activity in Academics for 'JPIA Review S2', and Best Local Chapter Activity in Academics for 'Ace Up'.
