PUP JPIA Manila claims back-to-back NFJPIA's Most Outstanding Local Chapter in the Philippines Title




PUP JPIA Manila's NARAHINAM Federation Year 2021-2022 received the succeeding title of being the Most Outstanding Local Chapter in the Philippines in the NFJPIA's Year-End Awards entitled "Folklore: The Tales of Siklahon", on July 10.


The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants hosted the said event, and proudly presented on their Facebook page live a list of outstanding JPIAns who supported and actively participated in all regional and national events, including the PUP JPIA Manila and its selected officers.


The local chapter bagged overall awards particularly the Outstanding Local Chapter in NCR, the Most Awarded Local Chapter in Academics, and the Outstanding Local Chapter in Non-Academics.


NFJPIA also recognized advisers of PUP JPIA Manila for the National Awards, particularly Asst. Prof. Noel A. Bergonia, MBA, CPA as the Outstanding Local Chapter Adviser, and Prof. Mark Anecito R. Perlas, CPA as the Most Outstanding Local Chapter Adviser.


For the Individual Category Awards in national, Andrea Gail G. Candava and Abegail F. Pascual received the Outstanding Digital JPIArtists of the Year- Local Chapter Category, Yssabelle N. Callañga as the Most Outstanding Digital JPIArtist of the Year - Local Chapter Category, Christian Jose P. Paragas, Denmark M. Ducabo, and Romielle D. Aragon as Outstanding Local Chapter Executive Officers and Gabriel Vryan Cordova as Outstanding Regional Council Officer.


For the Regional Awards in the National Capital Region (NCR), AJ Ryan Z. Del Rosario was awarded as the Most Outstanding JPIAn, Edmar Angelo D. Alfelor as Outstanding JPIAn, Christian Jose P. Paragas as Outstanding Local Chapter Officer, Adigail S. Capanang as Most Outstanding JPIAn in Socio-Civic, while Romielle D. Aragon as Most Outstanding Local Chapter Officer, Most Outstanding JPIAn in Academics, and Most Congenial Local Chapter Officer.


Moreover, the iPASS 4.0: Philippine Accountancy Students' Summit placed 2nd as the Best Local Chapter Activity in Academics for national and Outstanding Local Chapter Activity in Academics in the region while the “ISKOmmunity” Project also placed 2nd as the Best Local Chapter Activity in Social Responsibility.


NFJPIA as the largest student organization in the Philippines composed of accountancy and accounting-major students through the said event recognized and appreciated the efforts of JPIAns, who excelled the most in various aspects of being a member and leading their co-JPIANs.
