PUP College of Accountancy and Finance faculty member Prof. Editha A. Peralta, MBA, CPA received the 2022 PICPA Outstanding PICPA Member - Metro Manila Region award from the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) on November 24.
According to the letter sent to Prof. Peralta, the award was given upon recommendation of the Committee after its evaluation and deliberation based on approved rules and guidelines by the PICPA National Board of Directors.
Peralta is a Certified Public Accountant, an NC III TESDA Certified, a regular faculty member of Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Accountancy and Finance (PUP CAF), previously the Faculty Extensionist of CAF at PUP Extension Management Office, and is currently a designee at PUP OSFA (Office of Scholarship and Financial Assistance) as Coordinator Benefactor.
The Philippine Institute of Certified Accountants (PICPA) who gave the said award is the professional organization of Certified Public Accountants (or CPAs) in the Philippines and has been awarded five times as Professional Regulation Commission’s Most Outstanding Accredited Professional Organization (APO) among other professional organizations.
Meanwhile, all awardees were invited to attend the 77th PICPA Annual National Convention (PICPA ANC) Awards Night that was held at International Eucharist Congress Convention Center, Cebu City last November 24, 2022.
