PUP amends Memorandum for Academic Easing of Requirements and Grading System

PUP Office of the Vice-President for the Academic Affairs released Memorandum Order No. 5, Series of 2022 in accordance with the placement of NCR under Alert 1, lifted effective on the 2nd Semester, the Academic Year 2021-2022, April 1.


The said memorandum has its subject of Amendment to Easing of Academic Requirement and Grading System due to pandemic limitations which were addressed to all Deans, Branch/Campus Directors, Chairpersons, Academic Heads, Open University System (OUS) Executive Director, Senior High School (SHS) Principal, Laboratory High School (LHS) Principal, and Faculty Members.

Under the online mode of learning, students are required to have academic tasks such as quizzes, recitations, midterm examinations, final examinations, and thesis defense. Furthermore, the No-fail Policy is recalled wherein if the students fail to meet the course requirement in all modes of delivery, they will be given Failing Marks of 5.0 or Withdrawn.

More information about the said memorandum will be added accordingly once an update from the office was released.
