Delegates from the National Capital Region stood over the 1st Trammels of Champion with the theme “The Lay of Greybeard: A hundred Ways of Unlocking Knowledge at the Speed of Thought,” where one of the representatives of PUP Manila was declared champion on March 13.
Purple Maya of the National Capital Region was awarded as the Most Awarded Regional Council followed by the Iyaruma and Solandia Federation of Region IV and Region III.
Champion of the competition was Ladini Badiola, currently a 3rd year BS Accountancy student at Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Manila who is also a gaming video creator on Facebook.
Following this, the Chief of Wit was Kathleen Kelly Reyes, while the Chief of Grit was Maria Miguela Abrera who are also BSA students at the same school.
"Unexpectedly, the competition felt chill even though it was a right-minus-wrong quiz bee. I was having a blast answering every question. NFJPIA did an amazing job executing this competition. Although they were strict with the guidelines, it felt like an actual face-to-face quiz bee because of the room tour and the camera angle. I also enjoyed the twists that they incorporated into the quiz bee," Ladini Badiola, Champion of the 1st Trammels of Champion.
Ladini Badiola encouraged other students, especially her fellow JPIAns to join the same competition as it was fun and challenging and will help them to assess the areas they need to improve on.
The event was organized by the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants which aims to promote academic excellence and camaraderie among JPIAns, who will conquer the national arena for the very first time.
