iPASS 5.0: Philippine Accountancy Students' Summit on its 5th installment, successfully completed and announced the winners in academic and non-academic competitions, in June 2023.

The event is the grandest and most anticipated event of the local chapter this federation year which was hosted by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants Manila to help the student-delegates from various local chapters around the country to grow academically and professionally.

Through a series of academic webinars and competitions, iPASS 5.0 supported the academic excellence of all JPIA members by increasing their awareness of the accountancy profession and associated opportunities for employment.

“I am very glad that this actually came up successful and I am very proud of my team who are behind the success of the event. Honestly, me and my co-heads are juggling two events at the same time, the event conduct of the others and the preparation for iPASS 5.0. We are really tired of all the work because of the academic workloads that we also have. But, we, with the help of our working committees, pursue the accomplishment of the event” said Brix Cervantes, PUP JPIA Manila Vice-President for Academic Affairs, and Project Head of iPASS 5.0.

He also said that despite their departmental examinations before the preparation, they still believe in all of us and did great in conducting the event and they had the chance to interact with UiTM Malaysian students and this is indeed not just a successful event but a memorable one that the organizers will never forget.
