Striving to allow JPIAns to showcase their skills and talents through ALPAS: Festival of Arts 2022, with the theme "Fleeing Towards Your Hand-Drawn Reality," PUP JPIA Manila announced its winners in various artistic competitions on April 3.
Ma. Chrisdel Mendez was the Champion in the Digital Poster Making Contest, while John Alihp Paulino was the 1st Runner-up, Niña Aguilar as the 2nd Runner-up.
For the Street Photography contest, the Champion was Mary Joy Toronon, AJ Ryan Del Rosario, 1st Runner-Up; Venice Jane Chan, 2nd Runner-Up.
Ted Gabriel Murillo received two People's Choice Awards in Digital Poster Making and Street Photography Contest.
Moreover, the winning piece entitled "For us, I say "Never Again”, original writer, Veniz Velasquez is the Champion of the Poem Writing Competition, while Dan Gyro Cabanes and Carl Calderon are the Runner-ups and Aliane Dangoy received the People's Choice Award.
With her original song composed entitled "Mula sa Bulacan", Juliana Loriel Climaco won as the Champion in the Song Writing Competition, Clyde Michael Barcelona, 1st Runner-Up; Shena Mae Secillano, 2nd Runner-Up; and Francine Sison as People's Choice Award.
Winners in the 1-minute Film Making contest are Rosemar Kristhel Songco, Champion; Confelidany Batac, 1st Runner-Up; and teamwork output of Louise Kaycea Marie Pagulayan and Princes Juana Gamboa, People's Choice Award.
In the Vertical Film Making, the team from BSA 3-2, Confelidany Batac, Ahlan Mae Gapido, Stefanie Queenie Hazel Grimaldo, Bernadeth Noay, Erica Joyce Nuestro was awarded as the Champion; Genesis Meneses, 1st Runner-Up; while the collaboration work of Felixberto Miranda, John Mark De Guzman, and Yasmine Santosidad from BSA 1-5 received the 2nd Runner-Up Award in the 1-minute Film Making contest, 2nd Runner-Up as well as the People's Choice award in the Vertical Film Making contest.
In addition, there was a recognition given for the overall champion in the competitions which was received by BSA 2-2, while BSA 3-2 was the 1st Runner-Up, and BSA 1-5 was the 2nd Runner-Up.
