To converse about Memorandum No. 5, Series of 2022, Rise for Education - PUP, together with students, student councils, student publications, and other formations and organizations of the university, will be conducting an emergency consultation through Zoom and Facebook page live on April 4, 6 PM.
The alliance became concerned as the PUP Office of the Vice-President for the Academic Affairs recently released Memorandum No. 5, Series of 2022, subjecting to easing of Academic Requirement and Grading System due to pandemic limitations.
Besides, they call the No-Fail Policy as "Hell Sem Policy," where students will get a grade of 5.0 or status of Withdrawn if they will not able to comply with the given requirements of the professors.
On their official Facebook page, Rise for Education - PUP said "Insulto sa danyos ang hakbang na ito ng PUP Admin lalo na't napakarami pa rin estudyante at kaguruan ang nanatiling lugmok sa paghihirap na dulot ng pandemya at mga sosyo-ekonomikong suliranin na kaakibat nito."
